About Network in Charlotte!
Network in Charlotte has been an idea, a long time coming. I’m Matt Swanson – owner of MS Digital Solutions – I started this website because I believe in networking and I want to make it easier to connect with other people that believe in networking, throughout the Charlotte, NC metro area.
The idea started to take shape when I formed my company and initially started networking throughout the area. It was hard to find a good resource with all of the networking opportunities in one place. Each chamber of commerce had their own calendars. Each group had their own events and their own websites. There was no central site that listed everything.
As my network grew, I started to see more and more groups/organizations and more and more opportunities to network. Frankly there are more opportunities to network in any given month than I could ever hope to attend.
At MS Digital Solutions, we build and support websites. It’s what we do. So when I couldn’t find a website that pulled together all of the area’s networking opportunities, I decided to build one.
My goal is to create a website that serves as a resource for all of the networkers out here looking to make connections. Access to the calendar will always be free. It will always be free for organizations to post events that are free for guests to attend.
We welcome paid networking events and membership only events too. All we ask is that these organizations register and pay a small annual membership so that we can pay the bills and keep the rest of the information free and available .
I intend to set up a number of features on this site as it continues to grow. Features such as an email digest of monthly and weekly events, ticketing options to help groups monetize their events, and a directory of networking groups/organizations.
We are starting with the events. We look forward to growing our network as we help you grow yours.
